    Molen de Hoop Red Velvet Cake Mix 500 g
    With this mix from Molen de Hoop, you can make a delectable Red Velvet cake/cake or small cupcakes. A Red Velvet Cake is not a Red Velvet Cake if it does not have a delicious layer of cream cheese in between. You can make several layers with the mix and a delicious layer of cream cheese can be applied on top of these layers, which will be a real treat. The cake is mega delicious with coffee or tea or just a piece in between because you can't resist this temptation.

    About Molen de Hoop
    Molen de Hoop is a high windmill built in 1850 by H.B Meyer and acquired two years later by the Pijnappel family. Thus, the mill was owned by this family for many years. Since September 2014, Jan and his wife Henriëtte have handed over the now-growing Grutterij-Molen “De Hoop” Oud-Zevenaar business to the current operators: Frits and Maaike Botter. Frits is the miller and keeps the records, while Maaike runs the gruttery and manages the purchasing of luxury and gift items. It is hard work, but fortunately for the family it feels more like a hobby. Together, they make sure the mill keeps running.

    Molen de Hoop supplies raw materials such as flour and flour as well as bread mixes and cake mixes of high quality. It is therefore not surprising that these products are very popular among hobby and home bakers who order from Baktotaal.

    Recipe for 1 cake of ø 22 cm
    500 g Red Velvet Cakemix, 300 g eggs (± 6 pieces) and 100 g water.

    With a flour mix of 1 cm and 1 cake of 1 cm

    Procedure
    1. Preheat the oven to 160°C top and bottom heat (145 °C hot-air oven)
    2. Mix the cake mix, eggs and water until fluffy about 8 minutes on the middle setting.
    3. Grease a cake tin and then fill it with the batter.
    4. Place the tin in the centre of a preheated oven. Bake the cake for 40 – 45 minutes.

    The mix is also suitable for about 20 pieces (per 500g of mix)
