Molen de Hoop Grandma's Spice Cake Mix 500g
Fancy a delicious spice cake like grandma used to make? Just add water and bake yourself a delicious sticky spice cake.

Recipe
500g of spice cake mix and 225g (cc) of water.

Procedure
1. Preheat the oven to 155°C (hot-air oven: 140°C) 
2. Mix the mix and water well. 
3. Grease a 1.5-litre cake tin, and add the batter. 
4. Place the tin in a preheated oven for about 55 - 60 minutes. 
If a paper baking tin is used, do not grease it. Set the oven to 140°C (hot-air oven: 125°C) and bake for 55 - 60 minutes until done. 

About Molen de Hoop
Molen De Hoop is a high windmill built in 1850 by H.B Meyer and taken over 2 years later by the Pijnappel family. Thus, the mill was owned by this family for many years.  Since September 2014, Jan and his wife Henriëtte have handed over the now grown business Grutterij-Molen "De Hoop" Oud-Zevenaar to the current operators: Frits and Maaike Botter. Frits is the miller and keeps the administration, while Maaike runs the gruttery and arranges the purchasing of luxury and gift items. It is hard work, but fortunately for the family it feels more like a hobby. Together, they make sure the mill keeps running.

Molen de Hoop supplies raw materials such as flour and flours as well as high-quality bread and cake mixes. Not surprisingly, these products are very popular among hobby and home bakers who order from Baktotaal.
