When you're baking, it's sometimes fun to give your baked goods a special color. This can make your baking creation look extra appealing. For instance, you can cover a pie with colored rolled fondant. Ingredients like fondant or marzipan are also available in various pre-made colors in stores. But with the handy food paint available in our webshop, you can take matters into your own hands to achieve the desired color. Using food paint gives you full control!

Food paint is highly versatile

The major advantage of food paint compared to, for example, liquid or powder dyes, is that you can use food painting to apply decorations afterward on a pie or cake. With liquid and powder dyes, you can only knead the dye into something, like marzipan or fondant. This isn't the case with food paint. Of course, you can still knead this paint into the marzipan or fondant. But you can also use it to create a figure on a pie or, for example, a pie or cupcake. This makes food paint highly versatile. The simplest way to apply food paint is by using a brush. But you can also apply the food paint with a special sponge or airbrush.

You have full control over how light or dark you want the color to be. By adding more or less food paint to the food item, you can achieve a darker or lighter color. However, it's wise to start by adding just a small amount of food paint to the food item so you can check the effect. If you're not entirely satisfied and find the color a bit too light, then add some more food paint and repeat this process until you achieve the desired result.
