    Molen de Hoop Quarkbread Mix 500gr 
    Mix for white wheat bread
    Make a delicious quark bread or loaf yourself, of course, and it's easy to do so with the Molen de Hoop Quarkbread Mix. The mix has a delicious, almost cake-like sweet taste to lick your fingers at. You can serve the rolls for breakfast, lunch, brunch, high tea, but also very tasty as a snack. Plenty of opportunities to eat the quark bread in any case.   

    Recipe
    500 g quark bread mix, 220 g water, 25 g butter, 1 egg and 25 g lemon zest. Optionally add: sultanas. 

    Procedure with breadmaker
    1. Add all ingredients to the breadmaker. 
    2. Choose the programme: sultana bread. 
    3. If sultanas are used then add them after the beep. 
    4. When the machine has finished kneading turn it off and after 20 minutes set it to 'baking only', 65 - 70 minutes, then turn it back on.
    5. Remove the dough from the machine and your delicious quark bread is ready. 

    Procedure for the oven
    1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a nice mass. 
    2. Let the dough rest for about 15 minutes. 
    3. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it into a nice ball. Place the ball on a baking tray lined with baking paper or greased and place a metal ring or springform pan of ± Ø 22 cm around it. The dough can also be divided into two balls, grab rings of ± Ø 12 cm. 
    4. Now let the dough rest for 45 minutes. 
    5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (hot-air oven 180°C). 
    6. Then cut in cross in the top of the dough and place it in a preheated oven for about 30 - 35 minutes. 

    About Mill De Hoop
    Mill De Hoop is a high windmill built in 1850 by H.B Meyer and 2 years later it was taken over by the Pijnappel family. As a result, the mill owned by this family for many years.  Since September 2014, Jan and Jan and his wife Henriëtte have run the now grown business Gruttery-Mill "De Hoop" Oud-Zevenaar to the current operators: Frits and Maaike Botter. Frits is the miller and keeps the records, while Maaike runs the gruttery and handles the purchasing of luxury and gift items arranges. It's hard work, but fortunately for the family it feels more like a hobby. Together, they make sure the mill keeps running.

    Molen de Hoop supplies raw materials, such as flour and flour but also high-quality bread mixes and cake mixes. It is therefore not surprising that these products are very popular among hobby and home bakers who order from Baktotaal.

    Wheat flour, sugar, modified starch(E1412), cottage cheese powder (skimmed) (milk), wheat starch, milk powder (skimmed), wheat flour (pre-gelatinised), raising agent(E500, E450, E575), salt, flavouring, emulsifier(E471 (wheat), E481 (wheat), E322 (wheat)), flour improver(E300). This product is produced in a facility that also processes gluten-containing cereals, nuts, sesame seeds and milk.
