    Molen de Hoop Cake Mix 500 gr
    A true classic, this delicious airy mix from Molen De Hoop. The mix is very airy so excellent for making an airy chapel for your cake with a delicious filling of yellow cream, whipped cream or bavaroise. To complete the cake, you can also top it with a delicious marzipan or fondant layer.

    About Molen De Hoop
    Molen De Hoop is a high windmill built in 1850 by H.B Meyer and taken over by the Pijnappel family two years later. Thus, the mill was owned by this family for many years.  Since September 2014, Jan and his wife Henriëtte have transferred the now grown business Grutterij-Molen "De Hoop" Oud-Zevenaar to the current operators: Frits and Maaike Botter. Frits is the miller and keeps the administration, while Maaike runs the gruttery and manages the purchasing of luxury and gift items. It is hard work, but fortunately for the family it feels more like a hobby. Together, they make sure the mill keeps running.

    Molen de Hoop supplies raw materials such as flour and flour as well as bread mixes and cake mixes of high quality. Not surprisingly, these products are very popular among hobby and home bakers who order from Baktotaal.

    Ingredients:
    Sugar, wheat flour, wheat starch, milk protein, glucose syrup (dried), milk powder (skimmed), emulsifier(E477, E472b, E471, E481), raising agent(E500), stabiliser(E450), thickener(E466). This product is produced in a facility that also processes gluten-containing cereals, nuts, sesame seeds and milk.

    Recipe for one cake of Ø 24 cm
    250 g cake mix, 190 g eggs (4 pieces, size M) and 25 g water.

    Procedure
    1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (hot-air oven 155°).
    2. Mix the eggs and water until fluffy and add the cake mix little by little. Beat for 8-10 minutes until fluffy.
    3. Fill the buttered cake or turban tin with the batter.
    4. Place the baking tin in the centre of a preheated oven for about 30 - 35 minutes.
