    Brand New Cake Buttercream mix 1kg
    With the Brand New Cake Buttercream mix, you can easily make your own delicious buttercream for your cupcakes, muffins and cakes. All you need to add is water and unsalted buttercream (see recipe and method below). You can also add a beautiful colour to your buttercream using a food colouring if you wish. Then use the buttercream to fill, spread and decorate your baking creations.

    The Brand New Cake Buttercream in a different guise
    With buttercream you can vary endlessly. First of all, you can add different flavours: chocolate, nuts, fruit or spices. You can choose to use natural products but you can also opt for prepared flavours. You need very little of these, but still imparts a lot of flavour. If you add flavourings, however, it is important to do this bit by bit, in order to maintain the consistency of the cream. 

    In addition, not only can you give the butter cream a delicious flavour, you can also give it a nice colour. You can do this using food colouring. Little by little, add some colourant and your buttercream will colour to all the colours of the rainbow. 

    Handy tips
    For a sweeter version, you can add icing sugar to the mix. Then mix it together with the buttercream mix and water, then follow the existing procedure. 

    Recipe
    100 grams BrandNewCake Buttercream mix, 125 millilitres water, 150 grams unsalted cream butter.

    Procedure
    1. Mix 100g of mix with 125ml of water, whisk the mixture with a whisk and leave to set for at least one hour at room temperature.
    2. Beat 150g unsalted (creamed) butter for about 5 minutes until creamy.
    3. Add the mixture to the butter in portions, always mixing completely before adding the next portion.
    4. Mix through to a smooth cream.

    The above portion is good for icing and filling one 20cm cake or decorating about 12 cupcakes.
