Brand New Cake Buttercream mix 10kg
With the Brand New Cake Buttercream mix you can easily make your own delicious buttercream for your cupcakes, muffins and cakes. All you need to add is water and unsalted buttercream (see recipe and method below). You can also add a beautiful colour to your buttercream using a food colouring if you wish. Then use the buttercream for filling, icing and decorating your baking creations.
Recipe
100 grams Brand New Cake Buttercream mix, 125 millilitres water, 150 grams unsalted cream butter.
Method
Mix 100g of mix with 125ml of water, beat the mixture with a whisk and leave to set for at least one hour at room temperature. Beat 150g unsalted (creamed) butter for about 5 minutes until creamy. Add the mixture to the butter in portions, mixing completely each time before adding the next portion. Mix through to a smooth cream.
The above portion is good for icing and filling one 20cm cake or decorating about 12 cupcakes.
Handy tips
For a sweeter version, you can add icing sugar to the mix. Then mix it together with the buttercream mix and water and then follow the existing procedure. After you have made your own buttercream with the Brand New Cake Buttercream mix, you can season it with a flavouring if you wish. By the way, you can also colour the cream with a colouring gel of your choice.
