BrandNewCake Zeeland Bolussen-mix 400g
You don't necessarily have to travel to the south of the country to enjoy a delicious Zeeland bolus. With Brand New Cake's mix, you can make your own heavenly Zeeland Boluses. That's going to be tasty!
Recipe for ten Zeeuwse Bolussen
400 grams of Zeeuwse bolus mix, 230 ml water, 7 grams of dried yeast, max 6.5 grams of salt, (light) brown caster sugar, cinnamon to taste.

Procedure
1. Mix all the ingredients except the sugar and cinnamon with a mixer with dough hook or by hand into a dough. Then mix it for at least another 12 minutes until a nice dough forms.
2. Divide the dough into 10 balls and cover with a damp tea towel or foil. Let these rise, covered, in a warm place for 15 minutes.
3. Knead the dough and make long strands. Moisten the strands with a little water and turn them well through a mixture of caster sugar and cinnamon.
4. Roll the strands into a kind of knot and place them against each other on a baking tray covered with greaseproof baking paper. Then let these rise for about another 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 250°C (hot-air oven 225°C).
6. Bake the boluses for about 8-10 minutes until nicely browned.
