Steensma Tartelettes Mix 1kg
Make delicious tartelletes super easy with this mix from the Steensma brand. A tartelette is a baked pastry with an open filling. You can fill the pastry with a savoury or sweet filling. You can vary endlessly with different flavours for the contents of the tartelettes. The taste of a tartelette is not only very tasty, they also look very pretty and cute.

Recipe for 20 tartelettes
250g mix for tartelettes, 125g butter, 2 tablespoons water

Procedure
1. Bring all the necessary ingredients to room temperature.
2. Put the mix for tartelettes, together with the butter and water in a bowl and turn into a crumbly dough.
3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for about 4 hours.
4. Grease the baking pans with butter and preheat the convection oven to 180°C.
5. Briefly knead the dough, roll it out thinly and punch out to desired shape.
6. Cut strips of the dough for the sides of the baking moulds.
7. Start by placing the strips along the side and then place the cut-out slices on the bottom.
8. Place a caisse of baking beans in the baking tin and bake for 20 minutes.
9. Remove the caisse with baking beans and then bake the tartelettes for another five minutes until golden brown.
10. Allow the tartelettes to cool well and then fill with filling of your choice.

Wheat flour, sugar, wheat starch, starch, raising agent (E450(i), E500), egg white powder (eggs), egg powder, thickener (E415), emulsifier (E322), salt, flavouring, colouring agent (E160b(ii)). May contain sports of soy, milk and nuts.
