    Steensma Baguettes Mix 1 kg
    Make delicious stick plates with Steensma's mix. Steensma is all about quality and taste and you can taste that in the mix.

    Recipe for three baguettes of 270g each
    500g mix for baguettes, 5g dried yeast, 8g salt and 300ml water.

    Procedure
    1. Mix all ingredients with dough hooks and knead the dough for five minutes on the lowest setting and then eight minutes on the middle setting. The dough should separate well from the batter bowl, only then is the dough good. The desired dough temperature is 26°C.
    2. Cover the dough with a plastic or slightly damp cloth and let it rest for 45 minutes.
    3. Divide the dough into three equal pieces. Shape the dough into a baguette shape and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
    4. Let the baguettes rise in a warm, humid place for 50 minutes.
    5. Preheat the convection oven to 230°C.
    6. Using a sharp knife, lightly cut stripes into the baguette to bring out its texture. Then bake the baguettes in a preheated oven for about 22 minutes, until nicely golden brown.
