Damco bitterkoek cake with amaretto 10 kg
Just add butter and eggs. It's that simple to make a delicious amaretto-flavoured bitterkoek cake with this Damco mix.
Why not try making a bitterkoek tulband cake? You will need:
1,000 g Mix for bitterkoek cake with Amaretto
200 g ground almond bitterkoek (optional)
500 g butter/margarine
500 g whole egg
± 25-50 g water
Beat the butter/margarine with a butterfly whisk until smooth (not fluffy). Add the rest of the ingredients and beat for approx. 2-4 minutes, depending on the amount of batter and the speed of the machine, in second gear until smooth.
Bake the turban cake for 75 minutes (approx. 1,000 g) or 65 minutes (approx. 450 g) at an oven temperature of 160°C until done.
We recommend cleaning the tins immediately after baking.
It is also possible to use a baking tray. For a tray measuring 25 * 75 cm, use 6 kg of batter from the above recipe without adding water. Line the tray with silicone paper.
In this case, the baking time is approx. 60-70 minutes at an oven temperature of approx. 160°C.
Recommended use:
Butter/margarine
at 21 to 23°C, mix smoothly with the butterfly attachment (do not whip).
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix for 2-4 minutes in
the second speed setting, depending on the amount of batter
and the speed of the machine.
Recommended specific gravity: 900 g/l.
Oven temperature: ± 160°C. Baking time for cakes of approx. 1000 g: 75 minutes.
Baking time for cakes of approx. 450 g: 65 minutes.
Tip: Clean tins immediately after removing the cake.
