    Ingredients

    RUF Yeast Dough Baking Mix 400 g is the ideal basis for a wide range of yeast dough baking creations. Whether pizza, rolls, bread, cakes, doughnuts, buchteln, Danish pastries or stollen – yeast dough is one of the most popular and versatile basic doughs. With this mix, the dough is guaranteed to turn out fine-pored and light, without any uncertainty about proving time or processing.

    The finished dough is easy to work with, shape and adapt to suit your individual needs – for both sweet and savoury recipes. Whether you're making fruit cake, cinnamon rolls, sweet bread or savoury yeast plait, this baking mix makes preparation a breeze.

    Preparation temperature

    • Top and bottom heat: approx. 180 °C
    • Fan oven: approx. 160 °C
    • Baking time: approx. 30 minutes (depending on the recipe)

    Preparation

    Place the basic mixture and yeast in a mixing bowl and mix together. Add lukewarm water and soft margarine or butter. Using an electric hand mixer (dough hook) on the highest setting, knead into a smooth dough. The dough should come away from the sides of the bowl.

    Cover the dough and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. 30 minutes. Then knead briefly on a floured work surface and shape as desired. Bake for approx. 30 minutes, depending on the recipe.
