You can also use glucose syrup to soften the texture of products, such as caramel, ice cream and fondant. Finally, you can use the syrup to give dishes a sweeter taste, perfect for the real sweet tooth.
You can use glucose syrup for making and flavouring, among other things, tamer syrup, ganache, liqueur, fondant and so on.

Basic recipe for trempeerliquor
- Sugar: 555 grams
- Water: 330 grams
- Glucose syrup: 115 grams
Method of preparation for trempeerliquor
1. Combine these ingredients together, bring to the boil then allow to cool.
2. Flavour the liquid with liqueur (maraschino, rum, kirsch etc.) or an extract of your choice.
3. Pour the trempeer liqueur into a clean trempeer bottle.
4. Store the trempeer liqueur tightly sealed in the fridge.
When you drizzle this trempeer liqueur over your sponge cake, you add extra flavour and your cake or pastry stays nice and creamy.
