    Molen de Hoop is a tall windmill built in 1850 by H.B. Meyer and later managed by the Pijnappel family. In September 2014, Jan and Henriëtte transferred the thriving business, Grutterij-Molen 'Molen de Hoop' in Oud-Zevenaar, to the current managers, Frits and Maaike Botter. Frits, the miller, manages the books and keeps the stones turning, while Maaike runs the retail shop and sources specialty and gift items.
