    Damco biscuit mix (hairstyle mix) 5kg

    With the Damco biscuit mix (kapselmix) 5kg you can make the most delicious hairstyles. Such a haircut is the ideal basis for various different cakes. From a tasty cream cake to a trendy faultline cake and from a colourful rainbow cake to a tough jungle cake. With this cake mix you can make it all!

    With the Damco biscuit mix (cake mix) 5kg you can make about 20 cakes with a diameter of 24 centimetres. The only thing you need to add to this biscuit mix yourself are water eggs. The complete recipe for preparing the biscuit mix can be found below.

    Ingredients: sugar, wheat flour, wheat starch, raising agent (E500, E540) emulsifier (E471, E472b, E477, E470a, E472e, E482), skim milk powder, maltodextrin, natural colouring (E160b), thickener (E415).

    Recipe: (for 1 cake of +/-24 cm)*

    • 250g sponge cake mix; 
    • 25 grams water;
    • 200 grams of egg (4 pieces);
      *All ingredients should be at room temperature; 

    Preparing the capsule mix:

    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
    2. Add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk together for 10 minutes on the highest speed. 
    3. Pack the baking tin and lightly grease it.
    4. Fill the baking tin 2/3 full with the batter.
    5. Bake the sponge cake for about 20 minutes until cooked and golden brown.

    RECEPT MOSCOVIC TULBAND*

    • 440 grams Damco biscuit mix (capsule mix) 5kg ;
    • 15g cold binder (use only when using a filling);
    • ;
    • 350g eggs (7 pieces);
    • 35 grams of water;
    • 2 grams of salt;
    • 10 grams of lemon zest (to taste);
    • 125 grams of melted butter (40°C); 


    Filling:

    • 65 grams of sultanas;
    • Currants;
    • Cassata; 
    • Biggareaux etc.  
      *All ingredients should be at room temperature. 

    Procedure:

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    2. Heat the butter to about 40°C. 
    3. Mix the sponge cake mix with the cold binder.
    4. Mix together the egg, water, salt and lemon zest.
    5. Beat this mixture for about 9 to 10 minutes in 3rd gear until fluffy.
    6. Add the melted butter and let the mixture spin for 1 minute in 1st gear.
    7. Spread the filling through the batter by hand.
    8. Spoon the batter into a greased turban pan.
    9. Bake the turban for about 40 to 45 minutes until cooked and golden brown.
