You can top your sandwich with a delicious vegetable spread, a slice of cheese or ham or any other kind of topping. Thanks to Brand New Cake's mix, you can make outstanding pistolets in no time.
Recipe
500 grams of pistolet mix, 300 ml cold water, 7.5 grams of dried yeast and 9.5 grams of salt.
Procedure
1. Knead all the ingredients into a dough for about 10 minutes. Cover with a slightly damp tea towel or plastic wrap and leave to rise, covered, for 15 minutes.
2. Form small pistolets and place on the baking tray. Let rise for ± 60 - 70 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 230°C (hot air 220°C).
4. Bake the pistolets for about 20 minutes until nicely browned. Tip: Spray some water in the oven when the pistolets go into the oven. Doing so will give the pistolets a nice, intense colour.
