The dough rising basket Cane Oval is ideal for rising dough, not for baking bread. This is because this dough rising basket provides shape and support during the rising process of the bread dough. This artisanal rising basket is made of wicker (Rattan). Thanks to the relief of the rising basket, the bread gets a nice, graceful shape. To keep your proofing basket clean, you can use a designated linen cloth. 

Using the Rising Basket Cane Oval

1. Sprinkle the dough rising basket with some rice flour or flour.
2. Deep the bread dough into the rising basket.
3. After the rising process, carefully turn the basket over over a baking tray or bread board.
4. When you gently tilt the basket back and forth, the dough often already lets go.
5. Make sure the bread dough lands gently in the baking tin or on the bread board.
6. Clean the rising basket by removing dough residue with a hard brush or the Brand New Cake Cleaning Brush. In addition, lightly pat the basket. 

Please note: The dough rising basket is only suitable for rising dough, so not for actual baking of bread. In addition, this rising basket should not get wet in any way. This is to prevent mould.
