    Wright’s Ginger Cake Mix 500 g
    This mix makes it easy to bake a classic ginger cake at home. Simply add water and oil, then combine until smooth. Simply add water and oil, briefly mix, and the batter is ready for the oven. This versatile mix lets you bake not only cakes but also cupcakes and muffins.

    Preparation:
    You’ll need 500 g of Wright’s cake mix, 200 ml of water and 60 ml of vegetable oil.

    Baking by hand:
    1. Pour the water and oil into a mixing bowl, then add the cake mix. Beat with an electric mixer for 1 minute (or by hand for 2 minutes) until the batter is smooth.
    2. Pour the batter into a greased or lined 900 g (approximately 2 lb) cake tin.
    Bake in a preheated oven for 50–60 minutes at 160–180°C (140–160°C for fan-assisted models, gas mark 4).
    4. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10–15 minutes.

    Baking in a bread machine:
    1. Add the water and oil to the bread machine, then pour in the cake mix. Select the cake setting and press start.
    When the cake cycle ends, let the cake rest in the machine for 10–15 minutes.
    When the cycle ends, allow the cake to cool in the tin for 10–15 minutes before removing it from the machine.
