Patis Decor Guar Gum 100g
Patis Decor Guar Gum 100g is a natural thickening agent (guar gum) in powder form that ensures a smooth and even texture in various preparations. Guar gum has strong binding properties and is used to keep mixtures stable and homogeneous, without affecting the flavour.
You can use guar gum to improve the texture of creams, sauces, ice cream and sorbets, amongst other things. It creates a creamier mouthfeel and helps to limit crystal formation in ice cream, resulting in a softer and smoother end result.
In gluten-free preparations, such as baked goods made with almond flour, nut flour or rice flour, guar gum helps to create more binding and softness and achieve a less crumbly result.
Guar gum can be used in both cold and hot preparations and begins to work immediately upon contact with moisture. It thickens without setting, allowing you to easily determine the desired thickness and texture.
