This large bag Pastry cream powder from Damco has a capacity of 5 kilograms. It allows you to make 12.5 litres of pastry cream. You do this by adding 500 ml of water or milk.
Use this delicious cream for fruit shells, pudding breads (cream buns)
and for filling cakes and tarts.
The cream is freezer- and bake-proof.
Recipe:
-200 grams of pastry cream powder
-550 ml (cold) water or milk
Preparation:
1) Mix all the ingredients together and beat for 3 minutes on high gear
Tip: To make delicious Swiss cream, add 250 grams of lobbly whipped, sweetened whipping cream to the pastry cream. You can use this to fill puffs, cakes and pastries. Mix fresh fruit, advocaat or macaroons into the Swiss cream and you have a delicious dessert.
Storage: Covered in the fridge, the cream will keep for at least 3 days.
