    Brandnewcake's mix for making a delicious slipper contains everything you need to make the tastiest pastry. Making a slipper is not difficult, you can find the recipe here on the website. You can fill the slipper with anything you like in fruit and other varieties. Most people make a slipper with strawberries, but this is really not necessary, there are plenty of other options.

    The package does not only contain the mix!
    When you order the slipper mix from Baktotaal Bouwhuis you do not only get the basic mix for the base. The package also includes mix for pastry cream and ready-to-use almond paste. The package also includes a slipper ring so you can get started right away on creating your own slipper. First you make the base, then you fill it with cream and almond paste and then you can start on the finishing touch. This consists of whatever you like. Fruit, confectionery and whipped cream, everything is possible.

    The contents of the set

    The set contains the following parts:

    • 1x BrandNewCake Cake base/biscuit mix 1 kg (art. BNC00161);
    • 1x BrandNewCake Pastry Cream mix 400 g (art. BNC00843);
    • 1x BrandNewCake Almond paste 500 grams (art. BNC00170);
    • 1x Slipper ring stainless steel 24x9x5 cm (art. 77503);
    • 1x description of preparation 

    The slipper ring (art. 77503) is handmade and produced for professional purposes, therefore there may be slight scratches in the shape. Of course, this does not affect the baking result. 

    How to make a slipper base?
    Roll out the dough to about 8mm thick. Grease the slipper ring and punch out the bottom with the slipper ring. Remove the excess dough. Mix approx. 150gr of the icing with half an egg óf with 75g of pastry cream. Using a spoon or piping bag, spread half of the ice-cream mixture over 1 dough base. When doing so, make sure you leave about a 1cm border free of icing. Bake the slipper for 25-30 minutes at 180°C (hot-air oven 160°C). After baking, immediately remove the ring and let the slipper base cool completely.

    The base is now ready and the slipper can be finished with a topping of your choice. Pastry cream is often used for this. Then put fruit on top of the cream (for example, fresh strawberries or apple pieces mixed with cinnamon and sugar).
