In 1981, our company started in Apeldoorn as "Bouwhuis Bakery Tools". A name that perfectly matched what was at that time our main line of business. We were and still are a reliable partner for bread and pastry bakers, supplying tools and other bakery supplies to a large group of enthusiastic professionals on a daily basis. Around the advent of the internet, we noticed a trend. A passion for home baking flew over from America and England. Via the internet and television, more and more people became enthusiastic about making extravagant creations themselves to celebrate special moments. The demand for smaller packaging and greater diversity within our range increased enormously. From our extensive knowledge of professional bakery products, we were able to build a range that would enable the enthusiastic home baker to perform at a high level. At that time we changed our name to "Bouwhuis waar voor je taart" to indicate that this is what we are very good at. Cake mixes, tools, decorations, dyes, marzipan in all the colours of the rainbow and edible printing (among other things). We have always been enthusiastic about baking as a craft. There is nothing better than a baker using his own hands to create beautiful products for his customers every day. Since August 2016, we have been based at a new location in Goor and go through life as Baktotaal. With this name, we indicate that you can find everything in the field of baking with us. With a range of over 10,000 products we try to make the total concept as broad as possible. Baktotaal "truly everything for baking!"
