    Ingredients

    With the RUF Birthday Cake Baking Mix 425 g, you can bake a trendy cake that looks and tastes great. The light sponge cake with colourful confetti decoration adds a splash of colour as soon as you cut into it. The whole thing is rounded off with a white cream with a characteristic vanilla-caramel flavour and a matching decorative mix. The result is a harmonious combination of light dough, creamy filling and cheerful appearance – ideal for festive occasions.

    Whether it's a big birthday party or a cosy coffee table in a small circle, this birthday cake is a real eye-catcher and ensures special moments of enjoyment. The baking mix offers an all-round coordinated concept for a modern cake classic that not only brightens up birthdays, but also causes excitement at other celebrations.     Preparation

    Preparation temperature

    • Top and bottom heat: approx. 170 °C
    • Fan oven: approx. 150 °C
    • Baking time: approx. 40–45 minutes
    1. Prepare the dough: Fold the baking tin according to the instructions and place it on a baking tray. Put the baking mix, eggs and softened butter in a mixing bowl. Mix briefly on the lowest setting, then on the highest setting for 3 minutes until creamy. Fold in the confetti decoration.
    2. Baking: Pour the dough into the tin, smooth it out and bake in the lower third of the preheated oven. Leave the base to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, remove the paper ring and leave to cool completely. Then cut horizontally twice.
    3. Decorating: Place the cold milk and cream in a mixing bowl, add the cream powder and beat briefly on low speed, then on high speed for approx. 2 minutes. Spread approx. 120 g of cream on the bottom layer, place the second layer on top and repeat the process. Finish with a third layer, coat the entire cake and decorate with birthday cake decorations.
