Use and maintenance 1. Before first use and after subsequent use, wash the mould by hand and warm water. Nordic Ware has an in addition a special Cleaning Brush for cleaning the moulds. 2. Dishwasher use is not recommended as it will shorten the lifespan. 3. Before each use, brush and spray the mould well with an oil or butter, then sprinkle in some flour. This way the mould will come out nicely. 4. You can vary with various recipes and ingredients. Do not fill the mould more than 3/4 full, to avoid overflowing. 5. Metal kitchen utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on the surface.
