    Mill the Hope Bittersweet/Amaretto cake mix 400gr    
    With this mix from Mill the Hope, making a delicious, airy cake is child's play. You just add from eggs, water, butter and possibly some Amaretto and your cake is almost ready. The Molen de Hoop Macaroons/Amaretto cake mix has a delicious taste of macaroons and Amaretto, two flavours that go excellently together. 

    About Mill De Hoop
    Mill De Hoop Mill De Hoop is a high windmill built in 1850 by H.B Meyer and 2 years later it was taken over by the Pijnappel family. Thus, the mill owned by this family for many years.  Since September 2014 Jan and his wife Henriëtte have run the now-growing company Gruttery-Mill "De Hoop" Oud-Zevenaar to the current operators: Frits and Maaike Botter. Frits is the miller and keeps the records, while Maaike runs the gruttery and handles the purchasing of luxury and gift items arranges. It's hard work, but fortunately for the family it feels more like a hobby. Together, they make sure the mill keeps running.

     

    Mill de Hoop supplies raw materials, such as flour and flour as well as bread mixes and cake mixes of high quality. It is therefore not surprising that these products are very popular among

    Recipe
    400 grams of this mix, 200 grams of eggs (±4 pieces),  4 tablespoons of water, 200 grams of soft margarine or butter and, if necessary, 1 tablespoon of amaretto.

    Procedure
    1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (hot-air oven 145°C).
    2. Mix in the eggs, butter and water for 2-4 minutes until nicely combined. 
    3. Grease a cake tin (1.5 litre capacity) with butter and pour the batter into the tin. 
    4. Place the tin in the oven and bake for about 65 minutes until golden brown and cooked. If the cake is placed in a paper baking tin, set the oven to 150°C and bake for 55 - 60 minutes. 

    Ingredients
    Sugar, wheat flour, crushed almond gingerbread biscuits (8%), lupin flour, protein, wheat starch, soy flour, raising agents E450, E500, wheatgluten, salt, flavouring. This product is produced in a company that also processes gluten, nuts, sesame seeds and milk.
