    Brand New Cake Sugar Dress Pasta White 200 g   
    Sugar Dress, also called Sugar Lace, Edible Lace or Sugar Veil. These products are all about the elastic sugar paste that you sometimes have to prepare yourself, but also sometimes come ready-made in a jar.

    Sugar Dress Pasta colours
    You can colour this sugar paste from Brand New Cake yourself, with a drop of colour gel, for example. Of course, you can also dust the dried finished product on colours with a colour spray or airbrush.

    In addition to a neutral Sugar Dress, Brand New Cake also has different colours of Sugar Dress, such as: gold, silver, ruby, black and pearl.     How to use
    You iron this elastic sugar paste into a specially made mould (or mold or die or ironing mat...) and then let it dry. Drying can be done at room temperature but it takes quite a long time (6 to 8 hours), in a hot oven at 80°C. it goes much faster (30 to 35 minutes). During drying, the paste shrinks a little, we recommend that you supplement this once by brushing another thin layer of paste over it. This gives you a stronger end result.

    You now have an elastic sugar decoration with which you can decorate very beautiful and super-chic cakes and pastries.

    Procedure for 100 grams of Sugar Dress elastic sugar paste
    1. Pour about 38 ml of water into a mixing bowl.
    2. Add 4 tablespoons of the liquid component (about 50g).
    3. Mix for 2 minutes.
    4. Now add 12 grams of the powder component from  and mix in well.
    5. Mix for 5-10 minutes until it becomes a homogeneous lump-free smooth mixture.
    6. Pour the paste thus obtained onto the mould and smooth it in well with a palette knife.
    7.  Store the remaining product tightly sealed in the refrigerator and consume it within 7 days.
    8. Dry the smeared-in mould with the sugar paste for 6-8 hours at room temperature or dry it in an oven at 80°C for about 10-12 minutes. The leftover paste can be stored in the fridge for about 7 days.

    To easily remove the dried Sugar Dress from the mould, lay the mould upside down and loosen a corner with a palette knife, use this to gently pull the Sugar Dress out of the mould.

    Ingredients: colourant: E170, stabiliser: E414, thickener: E1422, humectant: E422, emulsifier: E433, flavouring, preservative: E202. This product contains traces of lactose, it may contain traces of milk, soya and sulphite.
