Teff Whole Grains Brown 500 grams
The whole grain teff consists of 100 per cent teff and comes in two colours. Both the white and brown varieties are whole grain. This whole grain must be cooked first. Do this for about’n 7 to 8 minutes until it is boiled dry in the pan. Then let it stand for a while. Now you have a great substitute for rice or quinoa. Tasty, nutritious and healthy! You can even use it to make sushi! For this, of course, it has to be completely cold first.
Teff is a cereal with a mild, nutty flavour. The grains are the same size as grains of sand. And the very fact that the grain is so small has a big advantage. Namely, it means that Teff is always whole grain. After all, the bran (the husk) cannot be removed during processing. As a result, all the nutrients are preserved. And that is good because Teff contains many minerals, vitamins and fibres.
Moreover, it is also suitable for people who do not react well to gluten.
As well as a whole grain, it is also suitable for people who do not react well to gluten.
