Sosa Fruit Pectin NH 500g Pectin is often used to make jelly and/or jam. Pectin occurs naturally mainly in the somewhat harder fruit species, for example oranges or apples. On the other hand, 'soft' fruits (such as cherries or strawberries) contain very little pectin. Many fruits and fruits contain too little pectin to make a firm and full-flavoured jam. Application:Mix the pectin with the sugar. Bring to the boil and add the acid. Long gelling. Final result after 24 hours. Ph 3.5-3.7
