    With the RUF Cinnamon Rolls baking mix, you can make wonderfully light cinnamon rolls with a typical American character. The soft yeast dough has a delightful light texture and is filled with an aromatic cinnamon filling that gives it its unmistakable flavour. The rolls are rounded off with a fine sugar glaze, which is the perfect topping, giving them a pleasant sweetness and a delicate surface.

    Whether for breakfast, afternoon tea or as a sweet treat between meals, these cinnamon rolls are ideal for sharing and enjoying. One pack makes 8 rolls, providing the perfect basis for moments of shared enjoyment. The balanced baking mix makes it easy to prepare this popular classic and enjoy it freshly served.

    Preparation

    Preparation temperature

    • Top and bottom heat: 175 °C
    • Fan oven: 160 °C
    • Baking time: approx. 25–30 minutes
    1. Prepare the dough: Mix the baking mix with the yeast. Add the softened butter or margarine and lukewarm milk. Knead briefly with the dough hook on the lowest setting, then on the medium setting for approx. 3 minutes. Cover the dough and leave to rise at approx. 30 °C for approx. 40 minutes.
    2. Filling and shaping: Mix the cinnamon filling with cold water. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (approx. 25 x 40 cm). Spread the filling, roll up from the short side and cut into 8 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish (30 x 18 cm) or springform pan (Ø 24 cm).
    3. Baking: Leave the rolls to rise again for approx. 30 minutes at approx. 30 °C. Then bake in a preheated oven on the middle shelf until golden brown.
    4. Decorate: Mix the glaze mixture with lukewarm water and pour over the cinnamon rolls while they are still warm.
