Cover jelly

Online cover jelly

If you want to make your pastries look attractive for beautiful presentation, apply a layer of cover jelly. Especially for fruit pastries, this is a great way to enhance the fruit's appearance. You can also apply cover jelly to extend the shelf life of the fruit. Since the fruit is covered with a layer of cover jelly, less oxygen comes into contact with it, thus slowing down the aging process to some extent. You can use the cover jelly directly from our convenient bulk packaging, no need to prepare it first.

How to use cover jelly

When you've made a pie or pastries with a cheerful fruit layer, you can apply a layer of cover jelly on top. This not only improves the appearance of the fruit, but also adds a touch of sweetness, which particularly tempers the sharp taste of sour fruits like berries. Gently heat the cover jelly to keep it clear while heating. The best way to do this is in a pan over low heat. Alternatively, you can heat the cover jelly using a double boiler or the microwave. Apply the warm cover jelly directly onto the fruit. For an extra good result, you can apply a second layer. Wait about half a minute before applying the second layer. Cover jelly is easiest to apply with a brush. Make sure the brush is clean.

Presenting homemade bakes beautifully

You can now present your homemade bakes even more beautifully by using our convenient cover jelly. This will make the fruit on your pie, cupcakes, or pastries shine even more, and the cover jelly also enhances the flavor of the fruit, giving it a better and milder taste. The cover jelly is easy to work with and therefore ideal to use. You can choose between a neutral cover jelly or a flavored cover jelly, such as the commonly used apricot-flavored cover jelly.
