When making pies and cookies, regular fondant is often used to cover a pie. For making figures and other decorations, modelling fondant is better suited. This fondant is smoother and more elastic than regular fondant, making it easy to shape into figures. With this, you can then decorate a pie or cake cheerful. You can also use this "modelling paste" to decorate cupcakes, for example. Special cupcake baking mixes are also available at Baktotaal.

Modelling fondant / Gumpaste in various colors

The modelling fondant in our webshop is available in many different colors. This allows you to make figures in various colors. The fondant is so smooth that you can bend it into any desired shape. After a day, the fondant hardens. So, you don't have to worry about your figures falling apart. You can also use hardened fondant figures on a pie, for example, by placing them on dollops of whipped cream on a pie or cupcake. Gumpaste, as modelling fondant is also called, is an ideal material when baking with children. They can easily make figures to decorate cupcakes, for example.
