Patis Decor Xylitol 150g is a natural sugar substitute with a low glycaemic index and approximately 50% fewer calories than ordinary sugar. This sweetener, extracted from birch wood, has a fine-grained texture similar to granulated sugar, making xylitol easy to use in all kinds of recipes.

The taste is fresh and similar to sugar, without an overpowering aftertaste.

Xylitol is versatile and suitable for both cold and hot preparations. In no-bake recipes such as desserts, yoghurt, fruit preparations and creams, you can replace sugar one-to-one with xylitol.

For recipes that are heated, such as cakes, muffins and biscuits, use slightly less: for example, replace 200 grams of sugar with approximately 150 grams of xylitol. This is because the sweetness increases during heating.
