Patis Decor Pectine Rapide 125g
Patis Decor Pectine Rapide 125g is a fast-acting gelling agent for setting fruit preparations. This pectin creates a soft, smooth gel structure that remains firm without breaking. This ensures that pieces of fruit remain evenly distributed and gives your preparations a neat, attractive finish.
This pectin is suitable for jam with pieces of fruit, clear jellies and fruity fillings. Use it, for example, for a strawberry layer in a tart, a glossy topping on desserts or a fruit centre in bonbons. It also contributes to a stable structure and an even result in ice cream and sorbet.
How do you use pectin? First
mix the pectin with sugar or other dry ingredients and add this to a warm liquid whilst stirring. Continue stirring until it has completely dissolved. The setting occurs during cooling and happens quickly, usually within 4 to 8 minutes. The recommended dosage is 1 to 3 grams per kilogram.
