    Product information

    Patis Decor Macaron Mix 250g
With the Patis Decor Macaron Mix 250g, you can make smooth, round macaron shells with a light texture and a refined almond flavour. Macarons are small French biscuits consisting of two light, airy shells with a filling in between. You simply need to add water to create a firm, smooth batter suitable for piping. This 250g pack allows you to make approximately 36 macaron shells, enough for around 18 filled macarons.

Macarons are often filled with various fillings such as ganache, buttercream, jam or fruit creams. This allows you to easily vary the flavours, such as chocolate, raspberry, pistachio or lemon. You can also add food colouring to the batter to make colourful macarons.

What do you need and how do you make macarons?
Mix the mix with 50 g of water and beat the batter for about 5 minutes on high speed until smooth. You can add food colouring if you wish to make coloured macarons. If you add liquid food colouring, reduce the amount of water accordingly.

Transfer the batter to a Piping Bag and pipe small rounds onto a baking tray lined with baking paper or a macaron mat. Gently tap the baking tray on the work surface to remove any air bubbles. Bake the shells for about 20 minutes at 130°C. Once the shells have cooled, you can fill them and sandwich them together to make macarons.
