Recipe suggestion: Pavlova with Organic Vanilla Extract
3 egg whites, pinch of salt, cream of tartar, 150 g caster sugar, 100 g icing sugar.
Preparation for Pavlova
1. Preheat your oven to 110°C.
2. In a clean bowl, beat 3 egg whites with a pinch of salt and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form, then gradually incorporate the granulated and icing sugars.
3. Gently spoon the mixture onto a silicone mat and let it dry in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours, or until the meringue is crisp and dry.
4. Whip cold cream to stiff peaks and fold in pure organic vanilla extract.
5. Once the meringue has cooled completely, spoon the whipped cream on top.
Sixth, crown the assembly with fresh red fruits or other seasonal produce, or arrange slices of fruit poached in a light syrup scented with cinnamon sticks, star anise and organic vanilla extract.
For a refreshing accompaniment, simply stir organic vanilla extract into homemade lemonade—adjust the sweetness to taste and serve over ice.
For the lemon-vanilla refresher, combine organic vanilla extract with lemon juice, fresh ginger, lemongrass and sugar in a heatproof pitcher, then pour over boiling water.
2. Refrigerate until fully chilled.
3. Pour into attractive glasses over ice and garnish as desired; your refreshing lemonade is now ready to enjoy.
