Mattisson Tiger Nuts Peeled Organic 450g are also called chufas and are not actually real nuts. The tiger nut is a tuberous plant, which grows on a root of a grass species. Tiger nuts are very healthy as they are high in fibre and magnesium and rich in vitamin E. They taste a bit like almonds and are delicious to eat as a snack or put through muesli.
