During New Year's Eve, delicious apple fritters are often enjoyed alongside oliebollen. The apple fritters are a perfect addition to the beloved oliebollen. This complete package includes apple fritter mix, cinnamon sugar and icing sugar.

Recipe: 250ml milk, 5 soft-sour apples, sunflower oil for frying
For about 25 apple fritters

Procedure
Peel the apples and drill out the cores with an apple corer. Cut the apples into 4-5 thick slices and pat dry. In a deep fryer, heat the oil to about 190°C. Put the mix in a batter bowl and add the milk. Stir with a whisk to make a smooth batter. Press 3-4 apple slices into the cinnamon sugar on both sides. Pass the sugared apple slices through the batter one by one and fry in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides (total frying time is about 3 minutes). Remove the apple fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain them in a colander. Serve the apple fritters with icing sugar.
