Dr. Oetker Leaf Gelatine Clear 23g (14 leaves)
Clear gelatine leaves for preparing cakes, puddings, fillings, creams and jellies. 1 gelatine leaf is good for 85ml of liquid. Before the gelatine leaves can be used, they must first rehydrate in cold water. After soaking, dissolve the gelatine leaves in warm water, warm milk or warm whipped cream. Do not use gelatine with fresh kiwi, pineapple, papaya or figs. Blanch these fruits beforehand or use canned ones.
Method of preparation
For hot preparation: place the necessary number of gelatine leaves in cold water one at a time and soak for about 5 min. Remove the leaves, squeeze and stir into the warm liquid to be jellied until the leaves have dissolved. For cold preparation: place the necessary number of gelatine leaves one at a time in cold water and leave to soak for about 5 min. Take the leaves out, squeeze them and place the leaves in a pan and mix them with 5 tablespoons of water. Heat the gelatine while stirring until completely dissolved (do not boil). Let the gelatine cool down to room temperature and, before it starts to bind, add the gelatine to the liquid, while stirring. Leave to set in the fridge (at least 2 hours).
