Fortunately, Desh Stoom has developed a durable, user-friendly steam tray that fits most home ovens.
Crafted from durable, heat-safe ceramic, its unique design releases the ideal amount of steam at the critical moments of baking. The unpolished base ensures a stable, non-slip fit on your oven shelf, while the polished sides and top promote even heat distribution. The tray measures 16 x 8 cm (length x width) and is 2.75 to 4 cm tall, leaving plenty of oven space for your loaves or pastries.
Simply preheat the oven with the tray inside, then pour in water and let the tray do the work. After 4–5 minutes, the tray will be empty.
Because it won’t damage your oven, you can focus on crafting perfect loaves every time. The tray is also suitable for combination microwaves and gas or charcoal barbecues, and it is officially approved by TNO for food preparation.
Desh Steam withstands temperatures up to 1200 °C.
