Colour Mill Booster 20ml
The Colour Mill booster is not a dye. The booster works to make colours appear more 'vibrant'. It helps the dye to mix through the oils in your baking. It makes the dye more bright (through emulsification). You achieve a deeper colour without adding more dye. In addition, it improves the fluidity in chocolate.
Ratio: about 3 parts booster to 1 part colourant.

Colour Mill is an Australian family-owned company that has specialised in producing food colourants, and in particular baking agents, for many years. The company has over 30 years of experience in the baking industry, so they have seen various trends come and go. One trend that has always remained is food colouring.
Colour Mill, however, found the supply of colouring agents to be limited and wanted to include colouring agents that coloured foods better. So they decided to come up with their own wide range of colourants that also colour incredibly well. And they succeeded! After many tests and processes, modern formulas were developed with which Colour Mill managed to bring to the market a wide collection of colourants that perform better than traditional gel colouring.
What did Colour Mill do?
The brand removed all water-based materials and replaced them with baking and cake-friendly oils. These oils mix much better than water-based gels. In addition, a specialised 'micro-milling process' ensures that the colours are grain- and stripe-free. As a result, Colour Mill's colourants give better colour to your baked goods and other foods, but you need less of them than a colouring gel from another brand.
