Instructions for use
- Before use, simply wipe the stone with a damp cloth.
- Next, position the stone on the oven rack in a cold oven.
- Preheat the oven with the stone inside for 30–35 minutes at the highest setting.
- Once the stone is hot, slide your pizza or bread directly onto it.
- The dense stone stays hot, so let it cool in the oven or handle it with oven gloves.
The stone’s colour may darken over time, but this does not affect performance.
The stone is fragile, sohandle itwith care and avoid dropping. Never immerse the stone in water, avoid dishwasher cleaning, and protect it from sudden temperature changes. Gently scrape away baked-on residues with a damp brush or a paring knife. The stone has a rough side and a smooth side; for consistent results, use the smooth side.
