Bakels Ganache (Truffle) White Chocolate 6kg Ready-to-use
Deliciouswhite chocolateganache (also known astruffle) from the Bakels brand. The ganache/truffle has many uses; it can be used as a topping or dip on drip cakes, (cup)cakes or doughnuts. It is also suitable as a filling in a cake. It can also be used as a topping in shortbread, as a flavouring and decoration in ice cream sundaes or as a flavouring in bavaroise.
Method: Melt the ganache in the microwave or in a bain-marie and use as required. Leave to set in the refrigerator or freezer.
-For moulded bonbons, soften the truffle in the microwave and pour it into the bonbon moulds, then leave to set in the refrigerator.
-For a buttercream or soft bonbon/cake filling, place 150g butter (at room temperature) and a tub of ganache (260g) in a food processor and beat with the butterfly attachment for 5 minutes until light and fluffy. Add chocolate colouring if desired.
